The PKing group of RuneScape was once a decent OSRS Gold of people back when the old wilderness existed. The first thing we would do was to ask "dm?" We then asked "dm?" or "fight?" before we attacked another person. We wanted them to be ready and for us to have a enjoyable, fair, and uninvolved fight.
People will DM. In many cases in RuneScape these times, I'll request anyone "dm?" You will get a response of "sure" or "yes" within minutes.
We also put our top accounts to each other, our mains. This was more fun since the stats were balanced, so it was an actual battle, and it was it was fun to watch range beat mage, and mage beat melee, ect. We now have pures that are totally unbalanced, and it has just made PKing less enjoyable.
Is it me or has the PKing community lost its integrity over the past years? These are just some of the examples that I have, but I'm sure there are many others. Do you think this authenticity will be reinstated by bringing the old wilderness back, or do you think it's just going to become an area for people who are annoyed on RuneScape?
Many people may not consider all the items apart from things that have changed since 2007. I was thinking of the following: I believe that 2007 still was a small screen with a a limited field of view. It was necessary to constantly alter the camera. Players can now see other players without worrying about the camera.
Wilderness wall. Dropping items is easy for everyone to see. The advancement in technology is enough to prove it. People with faster/better connectivity. YouTube was very popular back then. But it has grown in popularity since. Many people want to make videos in order to "compete". Duel Arena now has a f2p price. With the staking back being going back, can it stay the same way?
My personal favorite is the old bone yard is gone. We hope it returns. Are new players aware of some of the places that were used for battles? Dark castle was empty. I had a larger list of things to add but it's now empty. It's possible that other people have more ideas.
The Guide: We always observe these clans of merchants select certain items every few days and then wait a specified time to sell them at a higher rate. This is because they make profits and everybody else suffers from inflammation.
What does a clan leader look at? How does one determine which item is the best for merch? It's easy. jagex has the answer. You can find the Grand Exchange section here. In this section of the runescape website, you can see various things such as the rising and dropping prices of the current in-game market for runescape.
It's likely that the 'Price Drops section is what you'll be looking at. It is here that you'll find the top products to sell. This is the most straightforward and reliable method of earning money. Others are also aware about it. The more you buy and the more players purchase, the bigger the prise rises.
Here are some suggestions for using the 100 most sought-after item drops. There are numerous items on the market which you cannot purchase, such as 'air runes. Make sure you save your money for things such as armor, ores or raw fish, as well as other raw materials.
When you have found the item of your choice, be certain that it has not decreased in value in both daily and monthly, for if it has decreased since 180 days ago the item is likely bound to keep going down in pries except for a certain type of item that I will be talking about in the next section. Don't buy anything that has dropped more than 4% over the last 7 days because I have experienced massive losses in the past when I rely on these items.
Special Items(Usually not marked on the top 100) There are some particular items, like certain kinds of fish, or ores most people will never see in the top 100 list because as they do decrease at a fast rate, it's not enough to be found on the list. This is where merchant clans earn the majority of their money. They will spend about an hour researching prices for items that are famous for rising from rock bottom in just three days.
One can do this either one of two ways... look on the internet for these types of items(I will give a brief list to those interested) or using a program designated to finding the top of the top merchandise for the week. (I have seen one. It's on my laptop, as it's homemade). These items can be very hard to locate, even though most of them are essentials like food and "skilling". Here is a list of what I consider to be the most valuable items to merch over short periods of time, just get some of your friends in on it so that they can assist you in raising prices by purchasing more of the same kind of product!
Here are my top ten merchandising partners. This is just a list of the top ten runescape merchants I merch with. I'm now focusing on investing my money into skills and not runescape. All the best! Good Luck to everyone! (Oh and sorry if I posted this in the wrong place and transfer it to the correct location if you have to)
I'm not sure what to say for the female voice. I don't know who the person behind the door is, but maybe someone from Zaros. I just hope that it's a fascinating person and there's a motive behind it. Strike, fight and kill. Keep up-to-date.
I'm praying to God they use there random dungeon generator to add an extra challenge before the boss. AS for teamwork, why not have an element where the player is disabled one player while another needs to remove them, it's the most straightforward method. You could make use of random dungeon generators however they would need to be at highest level for all the tasks. That way you wouldn’t have to deal with the issue of the dungeon being shut off due to half the dungeon was abruptly closed.
I think the disabling idea would be great and tie in well with the idea that we need teamwork. To'kash's Deep Freeze Attack could be altered to focus on one player and not melt for an infinite period. This will require players to work as a team of two.
I envision tougher bosses getting lots of Dung-style bosses with little that you can do to win. Certain bosses will likely be less effective than others (Lexicus is one that comes to mind) however I believe that varying the methods needed to kill bosses would be a great step towards more interesting boss fights.
Jagex and The Dangers of a Half-Assed Wildy
In light of the recent controversy over the revival of the wild, I'm going to take a more indepth look at what this could mean to the game, and how the new rules that have been introduced over the last few years would clash with what we now call "the wild" and the problems this brings up.
Let's first discuss the wilderness borders. There was never a safe zone prior to 2007. This wilderness design is the most fundamental, and it also includes safe zones. Now while you could argue that these should stay, they interfere with the flow of current pvp fights. It is promoted to hop into a secure zone and it also concentrates on fighting them.
In addition, it is a detriment to the goal. The issue is whether we will see a new wilderness design within BH worlds or the previous one. Another issue is that The current activities that occur within the wilderness aren't permitted. Are they staying or going and what impact will this have.
Personally, I would move all the minigames (Clan Wars FOG Sealing off Deamonhiem, Defender of Varrock and Sealing off Deamonhiem), but the three quests make it difficult. Defender of Varrock and the Summer questline each have substantial chunks that are in the wild. I believe that if the quests remain, it is recommended to complete the quest. What do I mean? When you reach the quest start point or go into the wilderness as part of he defender of varrack story you are completely on your own with no player interaction. While this may alter the story, it would not have any significant impact on it.
Green Dragons and armoured Zombies, Chaos Ele, and other similar things must be the same. But, I believe the best training spot is a bit risky. The Corporeal creature is an intriguing point. While it might be fun for barrage runners to go to the cave, its boss mechanic in RS is unique in that you will bank a lot of times due to its high risk nature. If the entrance was moved nearer the border of the wildy it might prove more attractive as it is currently just beyond level 20, which is the cut-off point for telegraphs.
The summoning process is a challenge. It would be convenient to have the ability to drop all at once, as with other items in RS. The limitation on pouches feels strange in the world of pvp. There is no solution to this problem. The best option is to keep the situation as "pouchin invent, combat goes down"
The most important thing is that you can't pvp wilderness realms. Never. There was one thing not present in the PVP/BH worlds: the excitement of the wilderness. This was the best handling of it I've ever seen in any game.
Pvp meeting pve players. There was a way to utilize the resources available, such as rune, treasure trails and dragons to gain rewards. However, this was not a requirement. The above mentioned points for quests are valid as everyone should have access to that content. But, keeping certain areas safe is not the purpose of the quests. This is the thing that I am most concerned about. A secure world in which no attacks can occur is not what the game was designed for.
There's no reason the runecrafter shouldn't use a the abyss that is dangerous. There are many safe ones one hop away. Armoured zombie runners are able to run on safe planets and then move to more dangerous ones once they are out of the wilderness. This would be true for all universes. This is a plea. Do not promote the notion of safe zones or half-assed wilderness. That would defeat the point and ruin the fun of being in the wild.
Wilderness and Free Trade
Since free trade and wilderness are under discussion What will happen to items that were initially designed in order to replace them? A quick background... GE- was established around a year before the notorious changes on free trade.
In the beginning, ancient warriors gear was made like statuettes. The drop in pvp was so terrible in the past that they decided to make them luck drops to ensure you could get them.
Statuettes: Buy RuneScape 2007 Gold statuettes, introduced with the new bounty hunter system gave people hope for good loots. The estimated potential- This was made available with the new bounty hunters system and gave people a gauge of their chances for decent loot. PvP worlds were designed to replace the previous bounty hunters, which originally had many worlds. But, they have been reduced to the handful of worlds.
