Professional peripheral devices, such as officially authorized racing steering wheels, arcade joysticks, and flight joysticks, can be used for PS5 games and supported PS4 games.

 

The PS Move dynamic controller and PlayStation VR shooting controller can be used for PS VR games supported on the PS5 console.

 

For the best experience, please use the DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller when playing PS4 games and PS VR games on the PS5 console.

 

PS5 games are not compatible with DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controllers.

 

To adjust the vibration intensity of the controller on the PS5 host, go to Settings>Accessories>Controller>Vibration Intensity.

 

Platinum and gold wireless headphone sets, as well as third-party headphone sets connected through USB ports or audio sockets, can be used on PS5 hosts (the headphone set companion application is not compatible with PS5 hosts).

 

PS5 backward compatibility limitations

 

During the PS4 game on the PS5 console, the SHARE menu cannot be displayed. The HDR of the PS5 host will automatically turn on. To disable HDR, go to Settings>Screen and Video>Video Output>HDR, and then select SDR.

 

The PS5 host does not support the PS4 competition function.

 

The PS5 console does not support the Live from PlayStation feature in the game.

 

The PS5 console does not support the PS4 second screen application or gaming companion application.
