This may be the wedding of Fleur and Edward, who have been married, near Florence, Italy, around 6 October 2018. The day might have been a rainy one, but this only made things more beautiful, with dramatic clouds and mist-shrouded hills serving as a moody backdrop for that elegance within the villa.

"My dress was incredible – I haven't felt better during my life, that is exactly how the wedding dress should cause you to feel! One of the main reasons I bought my dress from Sanyukta was the Fairtrade, organic fabrics. I loved the sensation of being in a position to empower other women by buying my dress through Behuli and I haven't felt better within the fabric – it had been so soft, and thus stunning."

"As a plus-size bride, I was nervous when I first arrived in the Behuli atelier, that some of her gorgeous silk creations would fit me, but Sanyukta helped me feel so comfortable, and incredibly quickly put me comfortable! My dress idea came alive with her design flair, and within a few moments of her pinning me in, along with a few quick adjustments, I knew I had found an ideal dress that completely represented me."

Fleur's bridesmaids wore a variety of stylish navy blue bridesmaid dresses, and also the sweet flower girls wore tulle dresses embellished with sequins and crowns of olive branches within their hair.

The original plan ended up being to hold the marriage ceremony outside, but because the weather turned, plans were designed to move indoors, towards the villa's lemon house, using its warm, weathered walls and vaulted ceiling strung with festoon lights.

Fleur made her way on the aisle, carrying quite a bouquet, which included wonderful, delicate blue-tinged hydrangea blooms, alongside roses, lisianthus with a variety of other beautiful textures blooms, and foliage.

Edward wore an incredible bespoke blue suit, plus a blush pink tie, bright, printed pocket square, and classic brogues.

There were post-ceremony drinks around the villa's terrace, and also the chance for some incredible shots using the misty Tuscan hills within the background.

Fleur and Edward's photographer has delivered an amazing collection of images for all of us to savor here – sensitively evoking the atmosphere and emotion of your day.

As using the ceremony, the wet weather altered the initial plans to have an outdoor dinner, so tables were laid within the ballroom instead, complete by having an enormous fireplace and historic wall tapestries.

Dinner would be a joyous affair, with food by, who cooked a feast of Pepe and pasta al Pomodoro, then beef, salad, and potatoes. Dessert was the delicious traditional Italian wedding cake, decorated with fresh berries and roses by Jill, from Tuscan Wedding.

With the final crumbs of cake eaten, and messages, everyone made their way towards the dancefloor, for music, which was Fleur and Edward's favorite part of the day.

"When the saxophonist arrived on the scene after dinner and ordered us all towards the dancefloor – it was our favorite part of your day! We had a DJ coupled with a live saxophonist and drummer, and it had been the best money we spent. The whole room was jumping, so when they played our favorite song, it had been like there is no one else within the room."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Wedding gowns are something that you generally only wear once, that is such a shame when a lot of effort adopts them! I'm getting my dress re-designed now right into a new style to ensure that I can put it on again and again!"
