WI vs IND: West Indies were facing India in the third ODI on Wednesday, July 27. Moreover, the game is being played at Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

India were coming into this fixture after winning the second ODI against West Indies on Sunday. West Indies captain Nicholas Pooran won the toss and he decided to bat first.

The hosts had a clinical start with Shai Hope scoring the majority of the runs. West Indies maintained their quality till the end and they posted a total of 311 runs with a loss of six wickets in fifty overs.

India struggled in the first 20 overs but they caught pace after that. The men in blue chased down the total in the last over thanks to Axar Patel and they won the second ODI by two wickets.

Shai Hope went on to score his 13th century in ODI cricket on Sunday. Moreover, he went on to put up 115 runs from 135 balls with a strike rate of 85.19.

Axar Patel went on to win the man of the match award in the second ODI on Sunday. He scored a match winning knock of 64 runs from 35 balls with a strike rate of 182.86.

The men in blue went on to have a splendid start to the third ODI against West Indies. Indian captain Shikhar Dhawan went on to win the toss and he decided to have a bat first.

Mohammed Siraj went on to bowl exceedingly well in his first over of the second ODI against West Indies. He put up an enthralling display by swinging the ball and picking up two wickets.
