Since all kinds of electric guitars, by their definition, are electronic, most of the effects that can be achieved are electronic-changing the pitch of the guitar in some way, or affecting the actual pitch of the notes, or even changing the overall guitar sound. You may have heard of electric guitar used in a variety of different types of music, from soft songs to heavy rock, from flat crackling sounds to unique sounds created by jazz musicians.
