Weaving Specifications of Corduroy Fabrics
Corduroy is a durable ridged fabric that textile manufacturers can make from a variety of different materials. What is most striking about this fabric is its unique ridge pattern, which corduroy fabric suppliers can weave in a variety of widths.
Although it is usually made of cotton, corduroy can also be woven with a blend of polyester and cotton or even all polyester. The lower the number of wales, the thicker the wales on the corduroy fabric. At the same time, a higher number of wales means that the thinner wales are clustered more closely together.
