For fifth consecutive year, the developers have tweaked the shooting mechanics. Why ?? Why to fix something that's not broken? The NBA2K20 had the best shooting mechanics and should not have been tweaked with.This has changed the whole game. And rightly so. The fantastic thing is that you are able to visit the 2K university style and practice on your game.
In the previous versions the developers have attempted to make the whole experience as realistic as you can and though the graphics can not get better, the shooting mechanics and simplicity of play always gets shifted. The shooting process was straightforward, it constantly involved holding the correct button toggle until a bar beside or under your participant filled up. You released after the bar was full, rather than too early or too late. There was logic and beauty for it, which can be lost in this .
