Peripheral blood leukopaks are a valuable resource for research and therapeutic applications. They contain a high concentration of white blood cells, including lymphocytes, monocytes, and neutrophils. These cells are essential for immune function and can be used in a variety of studies and treatments.

The purchase of peripheral blood leukopaks requires careful consideration of several factors, including the intended use, the volume of leukopaks required, and the vendor's reputation and quality control measures. It is important to select a vendor that meets regulatory requirements and adheres to ethical guidelines.

The cost of peripheral blood leukopaks can vary depending on the vendor, the volume of leukopaks, and the shipping method. It is recommended to request quotes from multiple vendors to ensure the best value for the money.

Once the leukopaks are received, it is important to store and handle them properly to maintain their viability and functionality. Cryopreservation is a common method for long-term storage of leukopaks.

When purchasing leukopaks, ensure they are collected under proper protocols, from consented healthy donors, and are suitable for your research needs. Prices vary based on size, freshness, and any special requirements. Contact the suppliers for more details on availability, shipping, and custom options.

The purchase of peripheral blood leukopaks is a critical step in many research and therapeutic applications. By carefully considering the factors discussed above, researchers and clinicians can ensure the acquisition of high-quality leukopaks that will meet their needs.

Leuko paks are collected from normal peripheral blood donors via leukapheresis utilizing Terumo’s Spectra Optia next generation apheresis machine in acid-citrate-dextrose formula A (ACDA). The donor’s white blood cells are selectively collected and the remaining blood is reinfused to the body.
