World Cup Icons is a brand new piece of content for FIFA 23 and is part of the game's ongoing World Cup campaign. Icons are the dream of the ultimate FIFA 23 team. They boast fantastic stats and are the backbone of many teams.

The World Cup Icons will highlight specific players who have created iconic moments on the world stage for their international sides!


1. World Cup Icons Team 1 Release

For the World Cup, we got extra icons. Cafu and Patrick Vieira can be obtained in the WC swap. 

World Cup Icons Team 1 dropped on 25 November, and there should be 35 in total. World Cup Icons Team 1 will be in packs until 2 December 2022 at 10 AM PT/1 PM ET/6 PM GMT. More icons will be dropped intermittently during the second season of the World Cup event, which ends on Friday, 23 December. 

Team 2 will be released on December 2.
