Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam, and every Muslim who is mentally, physically, and financially stable must do it once in his or her life. If a Muslim doesn't do Hajj, even if they have a good reason, they will have to face the anger of God on the Day of Judgment. A Muslim needs to know when this good Ibadah started. The correct view is that Hajj, which is also called "major pilgrimage," became required in the 9th year AH, not before. There are several reasons why this is true. One of the biggest and most important was that when Muslims wanted to do islamic travel 5 star umrah packages 2023 with flight in the year 628 CE, Quraysh told them they couldn't do it, so they had to go back to Madinah. If Muslims tried to do Hajj at that time, it's likely that people who don't believe in God would stop them. Almighty is the smartest of all, so he didn't make Hajj mandatory until Muslims were stronger and had more power over non-believers.

The fact that Hajj is required in the 9th Hijri is shown by a verse in Surah Al Imran of the holy Quran. Almighty Allah said;

"And Hajj (the pilgrimage) to the House (of Allah) is a duty that all people owe to Allah, if they can afford the costs (for travel, food, and a place to stay)."

This Surah verse came to light in the year of delegations (in the 9th Hijri). Most people now wonder why Prophet Muhammad didn't do Hajj when it became required by Allah. The answer is that he can, but he doesn't. There are two main reasons for this.

The first reason not to do Hajj in the year it became required is that in the 9th Hijri, a lot of groups came to Prophet Muhammad SAWW to ask him for advice and guidance (that is also the reason the 9th Hijri is referred as the year of delegations). If Prophet Muhammad SAWW had gone to Hajj that year and not found people to help him, Islam could not have grown as it did. Many Muslims went to the Last Messenger SAWW to learn more about Islam so that they could better follow their faith. As the Messenger of Allah, it was Prophet Muhammad's job to spread the religion's message to the people, so he preferred to do that.

In the ninth year, the non-believers were supposed to walk around the Kabah seven times. Many of us don't know that the Kabah is always a holy place for Arabs, no matter what religion they follow. Because Kabah was where people who didn't believe in God built the biggest fires to please their gods. The hope came true, and it really did happen (Kufaar did perform Hajj). Prophet Muhammad SAWW waited to do Hajj so that it would be associated only with Islam and not with any other religion, and that is exactly what happened. In the ninth year, it was made clear and loudly known that only Muslims can do Hajj and that only Muslims can walk around the holy Kabah seven times.

The Hajj became a must-do for all believers in the ninth year, which was the holiest year. But the very first Hajj in Islamic history didn't happen until the next year (the 10th Hijri). Prophet Muhammad SAWW only went on one Hajj in his life, and it was during this pilgrimage that he gave the famous "Last Sermon of Hajj." The Last Sermon of Hajj, which is also called Khutba Hajj tul Wida, gives a complete set of rules for living that not only a Muslim should follow, but that everyone should follow. It is the sermon that is given every year during the Cheap Umrah Packages from UK.
