O-Cedar is one of the popular mop brands that manufacture mops, brooms, and other cleaning tools to make your daily cleaning much easier. Among all of O-Cedar’s products, the spin mop is an exceptional one. But many people find it difficult to remove the mop head. That is why today,  TheKingLive shows you the way to remove the O-Cedar mop heads easily.

After a long time of use, the mop head will, of course, get old, worn, and stained. Instead of buying a new mop, you just need to replace the old mop head with a new one. Here’s the way!

1. Check through and concentrate on the mop.

Don’t skip this step. It is better if you read through the instruction book for the mop. And you just need to focus on the mop head to learn well about its functions and designs.

When you take a close look at the mop head, you will see a red triangular piece. There is also a black piece inside, and that is exactly what you should pull out.

2. Remove the mop head.

Before taking out the black piece, you will need to remove the mop head first. The mop head is attached to the handle via a friction lock. You hold the mop head and twist the handle counterclockwise, then pull it outward at the same time. Then, the mop head is in your hand. Check it thoroughly to see if it's still in good condition or not. If it is broken, throw it away and replace it with a new mop head.

Many people step on the string and pull up the handle in trying to remove the mop head. But doing it this way will easily damage the handle joint, and you will have to replace a completely new mop instead of a new mop head.

3. Pull out the black piece.

You’ve known what you need to remove and next, is how to remove o cedar mop head . You just need to hold the red triangle piece tightly on one end and use the other hand to pull out the black piece—just like the way you try to take out a button from a bottle. Easy, right? I am writing down so much, but it just takes you one minute to do that.

After you remove the red piece, what you have now is the bare string mop. You can throw it in the washing machine, and it will be ready for the next cleaning. If it's damaged and worn out so much, it’s time for you to replace it with a new one.

Then, when you need to insert the new mop head, all you need to do is align the black piece in the right place with the red piece and press it into place.

I hope that this tip on O cedar mop head removal  is useful for you. Remember to wash the string mop regularly so that it can help you do cleaning effectively.
