Remember that only two kinds of candidates are eligible to use the RPL pathway: 

  1.  Those who don’t have ICT qualifications are eligible to use the RPL pathway on the condition that they need to have six years of relevant work experience. 

  2. The other ones are those who don’t have even tertiary-level qualifications, but they need to have eight years of relevant work experience.

  1. The RPL Project Report: 

In this section, summarize all the projects you have been involved in so that you can showcase your skills. The RPL project is to show your understanding of the subject area as in the section. You need to submit two copies of the RPL project report according to the authority. The first one needs to be from the past three and the second one from the last five years. 

Project report writing tips: 

  1. First, choose your project carefully. In fact, choose the one allowing you to show your skills and knowledge as given in any one of the ANZSCO codes you have chosen to apply for. 

  2. You must mention the details of the project such as the project name, affiliated company and your role in each of the projects of the report. 

  3. Give a description of your assigned duties and responsibilities for each project. Describe how your idea is applied in the design and development of each project, which will help you highlight your plus points. 

  4. Explain those methods that were applied in the System Analysis and Design of each project development. 

  5. Let the authority know about the programming languages that were used in the project to show your programming skills. 

  6. Mention all the database management techniques that were implemented in the project to show your DBMS skills. 

  7. Describe ICT managerial activities, showing the nature and extent of your competencies and responsibilities.

  8. Mention project management and quality assurance techniques that were followed in the project development to showcase your management skills. You should explain the security mechanisms that were implemented in the project.
