We not only train our own lifeguard members. Courses for up to 12 people, in which anyone interested can be trained to become a lifeguard, also start regularly. If you're looking for a lifeguard class near me location, you can easily search for one online or check with your local pool, beach or community center to see if they offer any certification programs.

Goals of the training

The aim of lifeguard training is, in addition to various techniques for transporting a casualty in the water and then bringing him ashore, above all to assess the risks and dangers for the rescuer.

The German lifeguard badge is awarded in the performance levels bronze, silver and gold. With the placement of the German lifeguard badge in silver, you are already entitled to work as a lifeguard in a swimming pool.

It is also required, for example, when accompanying youth group leaders on trips to bathing spots. The lifeguard badge is also required for many other professions and qualifications.

After registration, the practical training takes place in 6-10 sessions.
