What is Memory Power?

Memory power is something that helps you in reflecting the past. It's just like our muscles that means the more we work with it the more strength it gets. But our brain has a limited capacity to store the things in itself. So, in this article I am going to talk about 5 ways to increase our memory power and concentration. So that you can remember things effectively.

 

So, let's get started:

 

  1.           Take a healthy diet:- We all love to eat food especially when it comes to fast food. Eating processed food affects our mind and damages it. As we eat fatty unhealthy things our thinking power and concentration reduces, and our brain starts processing thoughts at a slow speed. So, we should eat healthy food that affects our brain in a good way. Like fruits, leafy vegetables and we should eat freshly cooked food.


  2.       Memorize things in a mnemonic:- This is a starting point to learn something effectively and memorize something. When you start learning something, just take the first letters of all the words in that sentence or anything that you are learning. In this way, you will be able to memorize the sentence for a much longer time.


  3.       Stay close to nature:- When you study or do an assignment on your laptop or Ipad you just have a limited capacity to sit and complete that thing i.e., you get tired easily. So, while you just move from your set up, you should spend some time with nature or admire nature for some time. Nature helps in keeping our mind fresh so that we can add other things in our mind and remember it after we take a break. Spending quality time with nature helps a person in increasing their concentration to a high level. 


  4.       Take a break from social media:- When I talk about social media it means YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and a lot of other applications. So, when we are studying or learning something on a P.C. or an Ipad the first thing by which we are distracted is social media. POV:Ohh my god! Triggered Insaan posted a new video on YouTube and guess what happens?
    We start watching it, we enjoy it and think let’s watch one more video. This distracts us from learning and decreases our concentration.


  5.       Meditation:- This is one of the most effective ways to increase our concentration and memory power. It helps us in memorizing more things at a single time. It controls our mind and helps us in learning things in a better way without stress, and it even helps in stopping the flow of negative thoughts in our mind especially when we are studying.

Conclusion: There are many ways of increasing our memory power and concentration, but these 5 ways are the most important. If you will practice these ways, you will definitely see a change in your memory power and your concentration towards your studies.
