Apprenticeship:

You can apply for the CMI Apprenticeship pathway if you satisfy the following conditions:

You are completing End Point Assessment by virtue of CMI for one of these apprenticeship standards and have related managerial experience:

Level 5 Operations/Department Manager

Level 6 CMDA

Level SLMDA

 

There is no kind of registration required. In other words, you don’t need to register for the status of Chartered Manager.

How much does it fetch, and what is involved?

The criteria for the title of Chartered Manager have been built into the CMI assessment at EPA. There is not any extra work and cost for the apprentice.

In other words:

If you complete a CMI qualification with the apprenticeship, chartership will be automatically awarded when you pass your apprenticeship.

If you possess CMI membership support as a part of your EPA package, the Chartered Manager title will automatically be awarded when you pass your apprenticeship.

If you complete EPA only without qualification or membership support:

When you pass your apprenticeship, the authority will allow you to complete a form to claim your relevant status of chartership.
