ICV Certification is a mandatory requirement for all industrial control valves used in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries in Qatar. The certification is intended to ensure that the valves meet the necessary safety standards and are suitable for use in hazardous environments.
The certification process is carried out by the Qatar General Organization for Standardization (QGOS), which is responsible for setting and implementing quality standards in the country. The QGOS has established a set of guidelines and requirements for ICV Certification that all companies must follow in order to obtain certification.
