We'll see though. The SEA version was managed by a different company and cheap meseta pso2 a bit different than the JP version with pay2win material going on and has been far behind in content. That version did not do and has been closed down a couple of years ago IIRC. Sega had to do with this release.

All the tools, content, and information state"Late May." We're at the halfway point in May, and not so much as a whisper about the PC release. Should we be anticipating delays due to Corvid-19? I'm wondering if I bide my time, or should invest in another match. I know it's available on the Microsoft Store, but just for Xbox. I tried using the Windows 10 Xbox App, but it did not work. There is also some posts about a possible Steam launch, but it isn't recorded in steam that I could find.

It really feels NA PC users will be the red. I really dislike the release has been handled. Especially the absence of Steam and the waits. Steam is preferred by me but thats whatever. When it comes to making money sega just seems historically incompetent. Even Blizzard with their disdain for Phantasy Star Online 2 gamers had info much farther out than 11 days that are available to go. Truthfully though. This increases from incompetent to something else. I think the technical term is"Snatching defeat from the jaws of success."

Is a brand new start value the worse monetization? Fresh starts eventually get old, but monetization changes. Not to mention the"official" translation appears to be looking worse than the"fanmade" translation. I would highly recommend just playing on JP servers in this point. It is not really about the monetization, it's about how gear functions. When everyone reaches a certain point, they kind of stop doing the low end quests unless they try to degree a new class, so in the event that you would like to see a lot of Phantasy Star Online 2 players all the time as you're leveling up afterward you want to hope on the new ships.

To be honest it will not even be noticeable. I did some low level quests with a pal of mine and hopped on the servers that were Asian and there were still lots of people playing over even though Phantasy Star Online 2 is just 7 years old for them. I advise people don't do so, in the future it is going to be worse. Content is being fast-tracked, therefore the"fresh start feeling" will hardly last anyways. You want to play the server with more Phantasy Star Online 2 players, so you can find items on the auction house more easy. This is moreso in regards to Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta gacha items and such. If you play the ships that are populated, these things may not exist after a month or two.
