Blizzard Entertainment is placed to host another Diablo 4 livestream in a few days Wednesday which will offer players additional information on the game’s optional Battle Pass, cosmetics, and seasonal content. This all forms an area of the game’s post-launch experience once players pay off the main story.
The new presentation for Diablo 4 will start on 10 May at 11 am PT / 2 pm ET / 7 pm BST or 8 pm CAT and promises a closer inspection of the game’s Battle Pass, cosmetics, and seasons. Blizzard stated the Battle Pass is going to be optional so players will likely not be asked to purchase them when they want to enjoy all of the seasonal content – although the passes could have bonus items that can’t be earned in-game.
Diablo franchise general manager Rod Fergusson, associate game director Joseph Piepiora, product management director Kegan Clark and associate director of community Adam Fletcher will show the next Diablo 4 livestream.
Piepiora previously confirmed that Diablo 4 wasn’t intended to be played forever as there’s a definite stopping indicating the endgame grind. This will probably go ahead and take the form of a “pinnacle boss encounter” once players reach level 100, the greatest level that they’ll have the ability to obtain within the endgame.
In related news, Blizzard recently revealed the entire PC system requirements for Diablo 4 at launch and it'll require a decent rig hitting its High and Ultra settings. All five classes available upon release also have received full trailers revealing the gameplay for Barbarian, Necromancer, Druid, Sorcerer, and Rogue.
Blizzard is placed to host another Diablo 4 open beta weekend known as a Server Slam happening from 12-14 May. The point of this beta would be to stress test the servers even more and ensure an even launch for that game when it arrives at the beginning of June.
