Many of the best practises for living a good life can be gleaned from Hazrat Musa's (may Allah be pleased with them) example. Since Allah Almighty is both the source of and the deliverer from every adversity, this verse demonstrates the importance of keeping one's faith in the face of adversity.

Hazrat Musa was born in Egypt during the reign of Pharaoh (Firou'n). The legend goes that Firou'n had a nightmare in which his empire was destroyed. He contacted his priests the following day to inquire about it. They warned him that Firou'n's power would eventually be broken, and that a man would rise to rule Egypt.

After hearing this, Firou'n issued a decree that all newborn boys in Egypt must be murdered. The populace complied with the directive. The priests finally convinced Firou'n that he shouldn't execute every male child born in Egypt, as that would leave him without any male slaves to enforce his will.

They suggested he kill the infant boys one year and save their lives the next. Firou'n took the counsel to heart. When travelling to the holy sites of Umrah during the month of Ramadan, it is imperative that one be well-versed in the life of Hazrat Musa. Umrah Vacations The year Hazrat Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) was born was the same year that the decree to slaughter all male infants was issued. His anxious mother began providing for him behind his back. Musa's mother received a revelation from Allah instructing her to construct a basket for her son and place him inside.

His mother followed Allah's instructions and became a Muslim as a result. She instructed her young daughter to follow the basket and she discovered that the Nile carried it to the palace of Firou'n. The fact that Musa was raised in the palace of his enemies is another proof that Allah loves a person more than seventy mothers.

Allah is the best of all, and no matter what happens, we should seek His pardon and kindness. Honoured Muslims using affordable Umrah Packages should consider the entire Muslim Ummah in their prayers and ask Allah to bless all Muslims everywhere.
