Solis Tractor History 

 

Solis Tractors, which was established in 1969, began producing tractors in 1995 and immediately became widely recognized in the market. They established a plant in Punjab in 1996, and in 2000, they established joint ventures with Renault Agriculture and Class Tractors. Solis Tractor had established its own engine production capability by 2001. Their first compact tractor was introduced in 2005 as a result of a partnership with Yanmar. In succeeding years, they introduced innovative products including the Rx and Worldtrac series. 

 

By 2014, Solis Tractors was the third-largest tractor producer in India, and by 2017, their global reach had reached over 90 countries. They achieved remarkable milestones including selling 100,000 tractors in 2018 and rising to the top exporter in India by 2021. They opened a US branch in 2022 and set a new export sales record by selling 35,000 tractors.
