It seems like a nostalgia trip to go play PSO2 for me personally as I played with with the first way back when. But good god there are a couple of things I absolutely despise. At this time the largest stickler I cant get out of my head is how aggravating with the'auction house' to pso2 sales come across cosmetic parts is. Its an aggravating buttocks of an implementation. Is how tutorial is going. It doesn't just need to reveal, it apparently demands your attention on what. The PSE quest thing in this tutorial looks broken. Flag that is wont as complete. Outside of that my initial five hours have been pretty fun.
So, anyone know why I have observed literally 0 marketing about Phantasy Star Online 2? I've only heard about it from 3 sources: a bigger streamer who likes games such as it, and that just just mentioned Phantasy Star Online 2 the day before launch; my friend who found out about a month prior it had been coming out, and linked me to the homepage, but had no clue where, when, or how the computer release was forthcoming; also this reddit post.I could excuse an indie title for having no advertising, hot or not, but that which seems to be a AAA title, an older one that is being localized, should have at least some kind of promotion, even if its only a banner ad somewhere.Phantasy Star Online 2 from the perspective of an old-school PSO fan-boy
Growing up, I had game series which would only with me between generations. It's rare for me to stick with a game series forever. But even ones that I do revisit on rare events (like Final Fantasy) I usually do not stick with for very long. But, Phantasy Star has ALWAYS been the exception. I shall drop everything every time a new game in the series comes out. And I have been awaiting ONline 2 FOR AGES. Like everyone else, I just thought it'd never come out. However, after 8 years, I eventually got my hands on Phantasy Star Online 2 and feel.
Phantasy Star Online 2 is Wonderful! Maybe not only because of some shitty pay-2-win scam (that Phantasy Star Online 2 mercifully lacks), but since I love Phantasy Star Online 2 and need to support it. That's how you do liberated to play the right way! You create Phantasy Star Online 2rs want to support you through a reasonable business model, rather than a sleazy version that compels you to provide them 50 dollars just to progress to the next stage. PSO 2 is simply fantastic. I love the characters, the simple fact that they bothered to have ENGLISH VOICE ACTING in a time where most Japanese games keep the original sound, and the fact that Phantasy Star Online 2play is much more fun and addictive than the original. If I had any complaints regarding Phantasy Star Online 2 compared to the first one, it is that the enemies don't melt into pools of blood and depart large patches of blood on the floor like they did in the original.
Always thought when that happened in the first that it was badass! That is really a minor thing. So far, Phantasy Star Online 2 exceeds everything about the game and then some.I also like that they retained the aesthetic of the original game in this new game. I felt like I was playing a picture of the first PSO sometimes, finish with improved graphics and gameplay that was revamped. I will say that it does take away from Phantasy Star Online 2 having its own identity at times, but I like it. I hope all you guys are having fun whether you perform the America or Japanese servers. I am able to inform you everything it feels really great to perform a new (or new to me) Phantasy Star game after so cheap meseta pso2 long.
