Apegs is considered as a work experience that primarily consists of 34 elements and has 5 elements of competency. There are 10 elements that have been related to the competence of 2 elements in the effectiveness of the team. The accountabilities that are personal have primarily 6 competencies. The CPD or Continuous Professional Development has primarily 3 competencies such as social, economic, and environment that helps in assisting 34 elements and are ready for the format of ready to submit.
The purpose of Apegs
The purpose of engineering and geoscience professionals has been regulated in the interest of public interest for the purpose of self-governing the bodies of professional licensing. Apegs is responsible for holding responsibility in the Professional act of geoscience professionals. The public could be assured that geoscientist professionals have their right to education, ethics, and skills in protecting the public interest. The apegs work experience reporting primary has certain objects of the apegs in section 5.

Who can use the assessment system of competency?
The purpose of assessment systems, that is competency, helps in regulating the specific basis, members of the student, and the applicants of engineering have been eligible in the following systems. These systems could be accessed that includes participating in the competency geoscience pilot.
● The Professional Engineer Association and the Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (apegs).
● Geoscientists and engineers BC.
● For the purpose of meeting the requirements of competency in the experience of geoscience for recording their progress in validating the systems.
Competency is the ability that allows in performing certain tasks and their standard role in recognizing the expected employers present in a specific community. These competencies are often related to the experience of working in an environment of engineering.
