In the late 19th century, Whittaker's "Maxwell’s Demon"—imagined as a force that could reverse entropy and enable perpetual motion—swept the scientific world, much like Marcus's dominance in the billiard hall. But times changed: English billiards faded, replaced by snooker, and Marcus struggled to adapt. A mysterious collapse of the billiard hall left him critically injured and unconscious, clutching physics notes that chronicled his shots. Meanwhile, the "Maxwell's Demon" theory was dismissed as pseudoscience, its "demon" furious and unyielding, guiding Whittaker back to the ruins.

Inertia:
After actively leaving the billiard movement path, Marcus's physical abilities are enhanced most of his interaction speeds increase by 20%, movement speed increases by 20%, and he gains perspective of nearby Survivors' positions for 5 seconds.
Pocketed Ball:
After leaving the path, the duration of Inertia is extended based on the number of injured Survivors on the field. Each injured Survivor adds 2.5 seconds to the duration, with a maximum extension of 10 seconds.

Cue Point:

Marcus places and connects Cue Points in sequence on the field to determine a movement path. Within a certain time after the first Cue Point is placed, subsequent points will connect sequentially to form a fixed path. The path has a distance limit minimum 4 meters, maximum 35 meters.
Imaginary Demon:
Cooldown 24 seconds Charges 2/2 times
Within 8 meters, Marcus can select any point on an existing path to infuse the "Box Demon" into the path, which then moves uncontrollably along the path at accelerated speed. During this time, he can use a skill to teleport to any position on the path. The maximum single control duration of the Demon is 30 seconds.
Once the Box Demon enters the path, it cannot perform normal attacks or interactions, ignores physical collisions and strong control effects, but can still cast skills.
Retract Cue:
While the Box Demon is moving along the path, Marcus can select a location within 8 meters to return to his original form and exit the path. Exiting is not allowed within 2 seconds of entering the path.
Closed Domain:
After placing the first Cue Point, Marcus can actively end the placement or let it end automatically after 25 seconds. Subsequent new Cue Points will have no distance limit from the previous one. If 3 or 4 unclosed Cue Points exist, Marcus can connect them end-to-end to form a closed 3D area. All Cue Points and paths within the Closed Domain will disappear after 80 seconds of the domain being closed or completed.
Entropy Control:
The domain starts automatically scanning its interior 6 seconds after formation, then scans every 38 seconds until it disappears. Scans reveal the outlines of Survivors inside and the progress of the cipher machine with the highest decryption progress for 5 seconds, and reduce that cipher machine's progress by 20%. After a successful reduction, the cipher machine enters a 37-second cooldown (independent for each machine), during which it cannot be reduced again.

Main Ball:
Cooldown 15 seconds
Marcus strikes the Main Ball in his hand onto any path the ball falls and moves automatically along the path, with kinetic energy lasting 16 seconds. Kinetic energy depletes faster when moving near a Rocket Chair with a Survivor. If a freely moving Survivor passes within a certain range, the Main Ball quickly locks onto and captures them. Within 3.5 seconds, Marcus can click or drag the button again to transfer the Survivor-carrying Main Ball to a circular area 8–11 meters around himself.

Cue Point - Advanced:
Marcus improves his billiard skills the charge rate of Cue Points increases by 10%, and the speed of landing actions after exiting the path is increased.
