Lost Ark’s class design is excellent

In action RPGs, few things are as important as good class design, but it’s difficult to offer players unique choices that fit their playstyle. This makes Lost Ark classes special. The new MMOARPG from developers Tripod Studio and Smilegate RPG is not only full of great classes and great battles, but it also showcases those classes better than most games. It gives players many ways to create new characters without over-polishing. But if players want to make their characters stronger, they also need to prepare enough Lost Ark Gold.

As a top-down ARPG similar to Diablo, Lost Ark has 5 classes with 15 Advanced Classes. Classes here are more like classes (Gunner, Berserker, Martial Artists, Sorcerer, and Assassin), while Advanced Classes are classes with specific identities and abilities - Gunslinger, Bard, Sorceress, Gunlancer, Scrapper, Wardancer, Sharpshooter, etc.

Sadly, one of the most annoying quirks in the game is that the gender of the character restricted subclasses. There can only be male Scrappers, but to play Wardancer, players must play as female characters. This is frustrating, but it doesn’t ruin the whole Lost Ark experience.
