New World hasn’t had a major update in a long time. The latest update is Expedition Mutators and Umbral Shards added on January 25th. A new PTR went live on February 2 to test the upcoming February update. Amazon has paused feature development to focus instead on improving live games, tweaking existing systems and ironing out bugs. The February 2nd and 10th minor updates provide general and endgame fixes, as well as tweaks to void gauntlet, ice gauntlet, and rapier.

But MMO players never really experience joy. Although many players are buying New World Coins at its hottest. But now the number of players has been dwindling. Steam reviews continue to be spotty, tens of thousands of players aren’t returning as each month goes by, and concerns about population declines are a common thread across forums. If it’s not dead, they worry, it’s still dying.

There was some optimism, though, and the belief that a February update might fix the issues and keep people coming back. Given that the actual new features cannot do so, it seems unlikely that an update focused on polishing, balancing, and bug fixes will have more luck, but at least it’s an update that the existing player base seems to look forward to, regardless of how it ends up Do something for MMO’s wealth.

For everyone worried about its future, there are plenty of posts on the official and Steam forums and subreddit where people are just playing the game and uploading clips of epic 100+ PvP brawls in the open world. It’s probably quieter now, and while server consolidation means this isn’t as noticeable in the game, there are still thousands of players having fun. If they want a better experience in the game, then they can get more information and New World Coins at IGGM.com, safe and cheap. Go!
