Tandoori Chicken Tikka Masala is a well-known Indian dish made out of marinated chicken pieces that are grilled or baked and then cooked in a rich sauce made of cream and tomatoes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Kg of boneless chicken, chopped into small pieces
  • 1 cup of plain yogurt
  • 1 tbsp each, of- salt, turmeric, cumin, coriander, paprika, ginger paste, and garlic paste.
  • 1.5 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp(s) of vegetable oil
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup of Heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup of chopped coriander.

Instructions:

  1. Cook the chicken for at least two hours in the yogurt, spices, oil, and lemon juice.
  2. Skewer chicken and bake it for 15 to 20 minutes at 200 °C.
  3. Then add the diced tomatoes to a pan and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked chicken and heavy cream to the same pan, and cook on low flame until mixed well.

Made with grilled or baked tandoori chicken wrapped in a flour tortilla with some vegetables and hummus, this dish is a perfect snack for your parties!

Ingredients:

  • 500g of skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup of plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp(s) of tandoori masala
  • 1 tbsp of garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp of ginger paste
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/9 cup of vegetable oil
  • broad flour tortillas, 4 inches
  • 3/4 cup of chickpea hummus
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • ½ cup of chopped tomatoes
  • 50 Gms of serving-size cucumber slices and lemon wedges

Instructions:

For the Filling:

  1. Mix the Salt, ginger, garlic, and the tandoori masala with the yogurt in a large bowl, ensuring a smooth mixture.
  2. Add the chicken to the bowl, coat it well with the marinade. Then cover the bowl and let it rest in the fridge for at leats an hour, or overnight for best results.
  3. Set the grill pan over medium-high heat, & get ready to grill.
  4. The chicken should be cooked thoroughly, on the grill, with each surface being cooked for 5–7 minutes or until golden brown. Coat it with vegetable oil halfway through, to avoid any burnt pieces.

Making the Wraps:

  1. Heat the flour tortillas in the microwave or on a dry griddle.
  2. Spread 2 tablespoons of hummus over each tortilla, leaving some space around the borders.
  3. Spread a handful of chopped lettuce, a few spoonfuls of diced tomatoes, and a few slices of cucumber on top of the hummus.
  4. Place the tandoori chicken slices on top of the vegetables & roll the tortilla tightly and tuck the edges in, cutting it in half.
