We are not in RS gold a position to generate Archaeology level content, so it isn't feasible. I swear to god, every time I see these types of posts, they always talk about how they're so busy at work, multiple groups doing things right and I quote: Inside every team concentrate on building a monthly cadence while using multiple groups working in parallel. Where is that work? I'm dead, they can't have 50-100 devs with that kind of content speed.
Please, someone tell me they did not make a skill that is new and not have the capability to make stuff for it. I might be wrong, but I read it as"we don't have the capability to make Archaeology size content frequently", like how some players thought we'd be getting a huge upgrade every 3-4 months to compensate for the months of no content. We've had like 3 or 4 updates this past year, if that. And no, I'm not counting events as updates. Inside my mind a company like. Literally doesn't add up. I really really don't know what they are doing.
Pretty sure they moved a vast majority of the devs over to this large, unannounced game they're working on. RS3 appears to be running with a skeleton team at this point. Can not wait for"Jagex game that is not RuneScape, quantity 43" to flop again. I wish they realized RuneScape is their golden goose and marketed more. I believe they had a plan with RuneScape mobile to be the next hot investment for them. But I think they ended up overbudget and massively overdue, such that I think it's price that is pure and they are just pursuing it to shed less, I guess? I can not imagine the quantity of effort they invested into cellular will pay off, especially when OSRS phone went and arrived for many intents and purposes.
I mean they ruined parts of their client. The good thing has been getting rid of Java, which isn't even a net with much bugs are in the NXT client that weren't present for the Java one positive. That is what happens when a bunch of your engine devs that are major are stuck working on a single job for a long time lol. At least OSRS obtained the version from the way much faster. I mean if we get some new blood playing runescape because on a phone it can compete with shit like raid shadow legends lol it might actually be the most beneficial thing for RuneScape at quite a while. Similar to the miniclip boom.
I mean, OSRS failed already and attempted. Their numbers spiked pretty much returned to pre-mobile. All it really does after all of the cell audience renders is give a way for Old School RS Gold vets to AFK more articles for longer amounts of time, which I guess boosts concurrent players, but isn't the type of action you truly need to view in an MMO. It is an MMO, yet everyone treats it. Could be like if everyone playing WoW wasn't raiding, pvping, etc, but instead afk at a tavern on a RP world.
