Traditional Chinese medicine has proved effective in the fight against the novel coronavirus. In April 2020, the over-the-counter Chinese medicine Lianhua Qingwen Capsule was approved, adding the functions of conventional treatment of novel coronavirus pneumonia.

Another major development in the regulation of TCM is the introduction of the holder system of Marketing Authorization for Drugs (MAH) in the newly revised Drug Administration Law of the People's Republic of China in August 2019 (2). At the same time, the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and GSP certificates were cancelled, and the overall responsibility for ensuring the safety and quality of drugs fell on MAH.

This paper introduces the law of TCM in China from three aspects: (1) the law and reality of acupuncture and moxibustion and TCM research; (II) the law and reality of acupuncture professional practice; (III) Norms and realities of plant therapy in China. I submit the following articles according to the guide checklist.

The law and reality of acupuncture and moxibustion and Chinese medicine research

Generally speaking, there are three ways to learn acupuncture and Chinese medicine (Chinese medicine online store): (1) study in a general medical school; (II) teachers with sufficient laboratory or professional qualifications; (III) Special training program for rural doctors.

In China, the degree of general medical school is divided into three categories. The highest level is the University of Chinese Medicine and the medical school of a comprehensive university with the qualification of granting a bachelor's degree in Chinese medicine; In second place are medical colleges; The lowest is the technical secondary school, which provides learning opportunities for students who graduate from junior high school but do not enter high school, so-called vocational education.
