In A Course in Wonders, Jesus shows us that wonders must certanly be involuntary and that they will perhaps not be below conscious control. (T-1.I.5) When we discover ourselves being pleased for number earthly purpose, or we are in a flow, that's the miracle! You can deliver into it, but you can't get a handle on it.
