"As I've said throughout the process and over the course of the course of his Patriots life, Tom Brady is a classy person of the highest integrity," the statement read. "He represents everything that's great about MUT 24 Coins this game and the league. But, in the absence of any evidence of any actions of improper conduct by Tom as outlined in the Wells report, the lawyers at the league were still insisting on imposing and fighting against unjustified and unheard of discipline. Justice Richard Berman understood this and we're very grateful for his thoughtful decision that was issued today. We now have the opportunity to return our attention to the game out on the court."

The Madden NFL 24 Players' Association released a similar announcement early in the morning, thanking Berman for his kind decision, however, players of the Madden NFL 24 respectfully disagreed and made plans to appeal.

It was in July that Kraft took aim at the Madden NFL 24 as well claimed the league had leaked inaccurate reports to ESPN in order to denigrate Brady and the Patriots. He expressed regret about accepting punishments from the league, without an appeal because he thought that by doing this his decision to accept his decision to play the cheapest MUT Coins could be exonerated of Brady.
