It was the first raid, it was never SUPPOSED to be super tough. We spent a couple months making it on farm, other raids like Ulduar provided a nice challenge when we had our roster firmed up and working together.Blizzard has been confronting a fair amount of criticism from gamers at the time for having invested a great deal of funds in raids that were experienced by very few players.

You had to run the raid 4 times each week: 10 man normal & heroic, 25 man normal & epic. You doubled the raiding when compared with prior raids.Itemization suffered from this as well with normal/heroic versions. It had been lazy.And for me the restricted tries in heroic was a shit thing. You may only have 50 wipes within the whole case. After that"good bye, come again next week". It left the raids more stressful, since every passing was not just a"I fucked up cost us some time lets go again" but it turned into a"Shit, I just dropped us a try, perhaps we will not have enough tries left to clear the case".
