RuneScape is important on a personal level for three very small reasons that include: being the first MMORPG I played, the first game that I can be described as obsessed with; and also the first game that can be described as 'online' but is far from the most enjoyable with RS Gold. But, it's three milestones in gaming that shouldn't be dismissed with a smile.

Following a quick and minimal instruction on the appropriately named Tutorial Island after which I found myself being thrown into the boring but quite enjoyable riverside town of Lumbridge. Every new player knows the fundamentals of mechanics such as how to build fire or put money into the bank. It's important to note that in RuneScape all players start on a level playing field (weirdly in the 3rd level).

There's no set classes or predetermined building plans that you can use, but only your skills, with the goal of making sure that each person reaches its highest level of 99. However, since this isn't feasible and perhaps not to most people It's best to concentrate on a handful of. However, the total character level or the combat level has an upper limit to one hundred and 126 (or 12 in RuneScape Classic). I believe I got to an 82-level before making the decision to go to bed. Perhaps school started back up.

There are five different attack types that you can master: stabbing slash, crush, magic and ranged. In the beginning, my measly prey included goblins and poultry, though there's a lot of more powerful and dangerous game available. Predators, too. Sure, RuneScape has a steep learning curve in the beginning. When I had my basic skills covered, it's all going and I found it difficult to take a step back from my computer.

In all, 232, spread across a generously-sized world map that's varied enough to satisfy the curiosity of my 12-year-old self. Every one being a singular tale with a bizarre plots and funny dialogue. My personal favorite is solving the mystery of the missing chicken at Draynor Manor and sneaking into the seemingly impenetrable Black Knights' Fortress on behalf of the White Knights of Falador, a rival group. White Knights of Falador.

But none of that can compare to slaying the dragon on Crandor as the most memorable and memorable task a free-to play player can do. The quests can be completed when you become a paid member of RuneScape, which I duly did. This opens up vast portions of the globe map with a host of additional things that stood me away from the novice I'd previously been.

Of course, you can go off on your own and wander the vast plains and deserts or head east into the dark vampyre-infested swamps and swamps of Morytania and best of all, by listening to the Bobby Pickett song 'Monster Mash' playing in the background. The act of entering an region to the first-time unlocks the appropriate soundtrack(s) for that area. There are some extremely captivating tunes. I remember listening to one of the Christmas songs on repeat.

Alongside the adventure, the role-playing is the massively multiplayer aspect that I enjoyed immensely, and it was great to have thousands of gamers with whom to play with, trade with, and judge me against.
RS3 Gold also comes complete with friends lists and chat on the screen which proved to my tiny PS2-configured , single-player mind that gaming can be an enjoyable and a solo experience.
