1.  Personal Visit Visa:

A personal visit visa is specifically for Saudi citizens who are hosting non-family, non-business-related short-term visits. It is available as a single or multiple-entry visa with different validity periods.

While residents of some countries get this visa issued through e-services or visa-on-arrival facilities with minimal documentation, others require extensive paperwork to be submitted for approval.

2.  Employment Visa:

The requirements for getting an employment visa for Saudia Arabia include;

·         Sponsorship.

·         An invitation letter from the company.

·         Employment contract.

·         Medical screening.

·         Educational certification (as required).

·         Security checks.

It is for those individual who are arriving in KSA for job purposes. Initially, it allows a maximum stay of 90 days for the first visit during which the foreign employee can apply for a Saudi residence visa for long-term work and living.

3.  Hajj Visa:

Getting a Hajj visa is mandatory for all of the Muslim pilgrims arriving to participate in the Hajj rituals in Dhul Hijjah. It is a necessary visa for all foreign pilgrims with the only exception for GCC nationals. The requirements for a Hajj visa are the same as an Umrah visa with an additional requirement of a male Mahram for female pilgrims.

4.  Diplomatic & Official Visas:

Official and diplomatic visitors can be applied through the Saudi embassy with separate categories for diplomatic missions and organizations. Getting this also requires an invitation letter from KSA.

5.  Umrah Visa:

Umrah visa is issued to the pilgrims arriving for Umrah rituals in Makkah. It only permits movement of the pilgrims between Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah with a maximum validity of 15 days.

6.  Student Visa:

A student visa is part of the "Study in Saudi Arabia" program, which is open to citizens of over 160 countries worldwide. You can get short-term or long-term student benefits from this scheme based on the degree you are enrolling in, course, or training.

7.  Transit Visa:

A transit visa is necessary and available to all foreign nationals for short stays that are over 12 hours. However, for those having stays less than 12 hours, it is not necessary to obtain a transit visa.

8.  Residence Visa:

A residence visa allows for extended stays beyond short-term visas. It is typically offered to foreign employees working in Saudia Arabia as long as they remain part of the company and/or business.

9.  Family Visit Visa:

Family Visit visa is only offered to Saudi nationals and residents hosting first-degree relatives for short-term visits. It is also a single or multiple-entry visa with varying durations.

10.              Business Visit Visa:

For any of the Saudi companies engaging in meetings or negotiations with foreign nationals, a Business visit visa is a feasible option.

11.              Premium Residency Visa:

The premium residency visa was introduced by KSA to attract talented and wealthy individuals to invest in the region and get this visa type.

This visa offers both temporary or permanent residency with various rights of property ownership, business investment, and job changes i.e. as per your visa policies.

12.              Companion Visa:

Companion visa is only limited to inviting spouses and children under 18 years to come and live in Saudia Arabia.

13.              New-born Visa:

Allows entry for new-borns who are under 12 months old when both their parents have valid work permits in KSA, and the mother has a valid re-entry visa.

14.              Extension of Exit/Re-entry Visa:

For any foreign employee and dependents travelling to/from Saudi Arabia, an extension of exit or re-entry visa can be obtained by submitting valid passports and relevant Saudi work permits.
