Cabin services manager Lyndsay and mechanical engineer Shaun said their I Do's one sunny summer's day, 14th June, in 2018 in the exquisite Grade I listed in Exeter, Devon.

"We find the venue as whenever you break with the trees from the driveway, the white facade is impressive and it has got that 'wow factor. The venue itself is beautifully appointed and also the grounds on the hot clear day are ideal for guests to savor drinks outside. You also have the advantage of getting married outside, weather permitting."

The bride and her maids also carried beautiful green and blush bouquets produced from blush-colored flowers and foliage, expertly developed by Plymouth-based florists.

The bridesmaids all wore deep blue bridesmaid dresses and a set of earrings, to go with the groom and the groomsmen.

The groom decided on a 3-piece designed to measure deep blue suit, accessorized having a pink knitted tie, shoes and cufflinks, and socks.

"I find the dress because it was a little different from others I’d seen and I had always wanted a blush-colored dress. As a young girl, I would always say I was getting married in pink. My lace-edged cathedral-length veil was from the local wedding boutique in my experience."

"I wore peony and blush by as my wedding perfume. I had wanted new things for the day so when I tried it, it smelt fresh, and opted for the peony flowers and blush-colored wedding gown."

Lyndsay and Shaun's first meeting was in a local bar in Crawley where they were both enjoying separate nights out with friends. After Shaun approached Lyndsay and asked if he could take her telephone number, the remainder, as they say, is history. Go

"We went for dinner to celebrate my birthday and Shaun arranged for that box using the bottle inside to become put in the room whenever we returned. Shaun had explained that he’d ordered a sizable bottle to become made and inquired about having a look at internet marketing. When I slid the cover off and saw the proposal around the label, Shaun was waiting, bent on a single knee, behind me using the ring. We were then engaged for 2 years before marriage."

Once the formalities were done and also the ceremony over, the bride-to-be and groom as well as their guests made their way outdoors into the glorious sunshine for the drinks reception, and lawn games before the wedding breakfast that was hosted within the venue.

"The venue had been so beautiful and extremely didn’t need a lot more decor adding into it. We just used glass vases and candles to go with it and photographs of our parents and grandparents using their wedding days to create our day more personal."

"Apart from saying our vows to one another, my highlight in the day would need to be close to the end of the evening and dancing with this band. All from the wind instruments (trumpets, sax, etc.) surrounded us whilst playing Walking On Sunshine by Katrina And The Waves – it had been amazing!"

"We also liked being around the top table and merely taking 5 minutes to look round the room at every table, watching everyone having a great time and people laughing and joking. It made us feel great that everyone was enjoying themselves."

Words Of Wedded Wisdom

"I would certainly say to take 5 minutes out watching your guests connect. When your day arrives, forget everything and all sorts of stress as nothing could be changed by that point. Just benefit from the moment!"
