It is not clear how much of Warcraft's Alliance was able to survive in Lordaeron at the time, due to the fact that the majority of its troops and all of its competent leaders were still fighting at the Burning Legion a continent away. The blood elves met a man who could prove to be the catalyst to end any love for the Alliance they had left. Othmar Garithos was one of the top officer who was tasked with leading the entire Alliance troops that remained in Lordaeron and not because of merit but simply due to desperate need. He was a tough racist, xenophobic, as well as a rude man, who believed that all people of World of Warcraft's other races as less than human.

Kael'thas pleaded with Garithos to help however the nepotistically acclaimed Grand Marshal exhibited nothing but hatred for the bloody elves. He was not willing to let them join forces alongside his soldiers against the Scourge, and instead sent Kael'thas the forces of his army on suicide missions against Warcraft's undead believing they'd never be able to return. As if there was no other choice, Kael was willing to accept help from Naga, who were snake-like beings who originated from the ocean. When word reached Garithos that the blood elves had allied with the Naga, he was shocked.

While it was evident that the sin'dorei merely joined their blades with the naga in order to stop the naga from committing their own massacres, Garithos used it as an excuse to condemn them to death on account of their treachery with Buy wow tbc gold. The blood elves from WoW's Azeroth were held in prison and would have all been executed if there had been no Lady Vashj who is who was the leader of the Naga, using her own alliance together with Illidan Stormrage along with Akama to save the entire group. The sin'dorei fled Garithos in the hands of the Scourge and naturally went after Illidan, who promised they could thwart their mana shortages with the fel as a new source of power. Kael'thas was enthralled and welcomed his people into a future where they could finally gain the strength and security they had deserved.
