Last, I believe there should be some added risks to the"wilderness" between cities. This could be outlaws coming out to RS gold strike youpersonally, natural events, etc. Jagex strove to make this by presenting level 5 highwaymen, but they are insignificant to all players over level 10 and do not pose any dangers to individuals who are smart enough to run. These risks would correspond to your skill level and could be less common at higher levels. They'd come from nowhere and fight only you, similar to older random events. This could probably help stop botting too. I would advocate the enlarging of this map too, but that would be pretty difficult.
Eastern lands are intriguing, and I believe they've got lots of possibility, but before we go searching for them I believe I would rather see Menaphos and Prifidinas. Additionally, keeping them ridiculously mysterious is really extremely helpful when they would like to retcon items in. They're cool, but unecessary at the moment, unless Jagex wants to draw within an oriental playerbase. Were they're released, I'd love some tie ins with Player owned Ports, Majharrat, and perhaps even another race entirely. . .but not Pandas enjoy in WOW.
Speaking of this entire world map, I really like what they just did in the newest upgrade filling in the edges. There's still space for developement but eliminating those nasty lines in the borders really made them seem like much more well-rounded areas that make more sense. Next step, getting rid of some of the fences (I haven't been to Al Kharid however but I enjoy the appearance of the map there) and in particular the starter station would be good, then doubling Draynor Manor so it goes with the rest of Scale Theory could make the map much better.
In reality, here's a small variation on the dialogue we had. I would like the world map to be changed slightly to create Scale Theory possibly near-universally implemented (on the mainland) or not. I'm sure there are other examples.
The only area where I think that it is logical to expand to proper scale is through quests, and therefore on buy osrs gold paypal the borders of the map. Either you've got lots of useless space (forests I argued for earlier) or you do not.
