Many war movies are fictional, but they all occur in actual conflicts on earth. These movies help us record our feelings of violent conflict in real life, which makes this genre different from extraordinary epics, or even traditional war movie.

M.A.S.H (1970)
Mash followed the 4077 Mobile Army Surgical Hospital in South Korea during the Korean War. The staff began their daily operations and responded to the horror of the war with humor, and saw the arrival of Surgeons “eagle eye” Captain Pierce (Donald Sutherland) and “Duke” Forrest (Tom carett). They ignored standard military agreements and rules
Other roles on the site include commander henryblack (Roger Bowen), his chief staff radar O’Reilly (Gary berghoff), Walter “painless” waldorfski (John schuck), dentist, surgeon frankburns (Robert Duval) and father Mulcahy (ren é Auberjonois). Although mash was set during the Korean War, it is actually a reaction to the Vietnam War and an anti war irony. The war movie satirizes war and military bureaucracy, as well as other themes.

Full Metal Jacket (1987)
This war movie has told a story as following depict. The all metal shell followed a group of marine recruits arriving on Paris island. The recruits met the training instructor, artillery Sergeant R. Lee Ermey, who declared that he was firm but fair. When Lawrence (Vincent donofio) began to make mistakes and ate a forbidden doughnut, Hartmann imposed collective punishment on all recruits. Every time Lawrence made a mistake, the rest of the platoon was forced to train. The platoon retaliated against Lawrence, who mysteriously began to show progress, especially his marksmanship, and seemed to begin to collapse.
Lawrence shot and killed Hartmann when he intervened, and then committed suicide. Later, Sergeant j.t. Davis (Matthew Modine) and private Ralph Mann (major Kevin Howard) worked for the star and stripes in Vietnam. Ermey used to be a training instructor of the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam, and he used this experience to improvise most of his dialogues. Before his casting, he was brought to the production as a technical consultant. As a director, Stanley Kubrick tried to make everything in the film as real as possible, and most of the content of the first act was accurate.

The Thin Red Line (1998)
This cruel war movie is about World War II, a group of soldiers were brought in to provide relief for the exhausted Marine Corps. Among the newly arrived soldiers are private bell (Ben Chaplin), private Doll (dashmihok) and Captain James taros (eliascotes). They are thinking about their lives and the upcoming invasion. High school (Nick nolt) sees the invasion as his last chance to win glory. The team soon landed on Guadalcanal Island, marched on the island, and soon found mount 210, a key enemy position. The mountain is covered with bunkers, and anyone trying to climb it will face machine gun fire.

Black Hawk Down (2001)
This war movie also told a cruel story.Ridley Scott’s “the Black Hawk falls” is an instant masterpiece, which brings the audience into a seemingly infinite exchange of fire. Global politics has lost all meaning, and now only survival is the most important. According to the true story of an unfortunate raid in Mogadishu, Somalia, two Black Hawk helicopters crashed in hostile territory, stranded soldiers and forced their compatriots to carry out dangerous rescue missions, Scott’s film has each member’s amazing ensemble actors (Josh Harnett, Eric Barner, Ivan McGregor, Jason Isaac, Tom Hardy, Orlando Bloom, Sam Shepard, to name a few) on display throughout the run. Thanks to pietroscalia’s Oscar winning clip, you will never be confused about where everyone is, what their mission is, and where all these bullets come from.
