Orlando Scandrick was released by the Eagles on Monday following their37-10 lo s to the Cowboys in Week 7, and he wasn Chris Davis Jersey 't shy about sharing his thoughts about his former team's struggles this season.

During an appearance on FS1's "Undisputed," Scandrick gave his thoughts on Philly's problems after a 3-4 start.

"I think they're having a tough time dealing with succe s," Scandrick said. "Whenever you gotta say, 'Oh, we're going to get it together. Oh, no one believes in us...' you're already doomed."

He went on to say his sudden release from the team felt "scapegoat-ish" and criticizedexecutive vice president and general manager Howie Roseman's reasoning behind the move.

"I don't believe anything that Howie says Brad Brach Jersey ," Scandrick said. "If (he) told me it was raining outside, I'd probably, you know, get some shorts just in case.

"He put it to me as he wanted to play some younger players andthey're a me s on defense and they needed to get some more defensive linemen. So we'll see how that works for them this weekend up in Buffalo."

When asked about reports of turmoil in the locker room in Philly, Scandrick bluntly replied: "Where there's smoke, there's fire."

"That locker room is different," he said. "I still feel like they're living on that Super Bowl high. It's over. You're living in the past. Some of those guys came into the league and the first thing they experienced was 13-3 and a Super Bowl and they think that's what it's all about... Some of those guys haven't faced the harsh reality of a losing season.. Baltimore Orioles Jersey . It's some accountability i sues there and it starts from the top."

He even went as far to criticize Eagles captain Malcolm Jenkins' leadership in the locker room.

"I think that when you wear a 'C' on your jersey, its your job to bring guys along," Scandrick said."It's your Renato Nunez Jersey job. Sometimes you need to take the hard down, you need to take the hard job and you need to bring the thing together. I don't know if that's the case.

"You look at everything that happened. You hold out for a contract. You come in. You're not really making any plays, like splash plays. Then you go down to Minnesota and you're supposed to be in the half of the field and you end up playing a cro ser? That's not a rookie we're talking about. It's a two-time Super Bowl champ."

Later Friday, former Eagles teammateMalcolm Jenkins fired back when he heard Scandrick's comments.

"I could give two s about people Chris Tillman Jersey who aren't here," he said (). For us to move on as a team, we cant have motherfers like that in the room.

The Eagles' official Twitter account even clapped back, from the team's Week 6 game against the Vikings in whichScandrick praises Jenkins saying, "That's exactly why you're the captain of this defense, the way thatyou fing conduct yourself first snap to the last."
