What I believe is RS gold that the game should release quests that live around or are better than previous quests introduced years ago. Nowadays I think quests are working a bit too hard on their environment aspects (Freneskae) and quests introduced for one special reason - an entire pursuit was dedicated only to the recurrence of Zaros, and it had been quite too hyped. There was not any mystery shrouding exactly what the outcome of the quest would be, and also the lead up to a revealing / shocking / cliff-hanger ending is (in my opinion) better than knowing precisely what was going to happen when you finished the quest.

And I do agree with you about Plagues End - No revolution could be planned in 5 minutes and successfully completed in 2 minutes, with the highlight being kicking down a door and offing every single member of this resistance single-handed.

What I would prefer is quests in a slower rate, but these quests be great. They have not released a quest that I rank in my top favorite quests because 2009. (The Chosen Commander) And when they followed up with'The Mighty Fall' (which perplexed me the way they involved the Dorgeshunn - which pursuit line was presumed to have been completed by now) and I thought they should of stopped while they were ahead and abandoned the Cave goblins from the film entirely. It was just another stereotypical pursuit with nothing to create it special. 3 boss fights and running around a place made specifically for the pursuit.

As for the absence of quests entirely, I think one reason that we're getting less quests is since we already have so many. We are reaching 200, and back in 2005 if 29 quests were published there were certainly not many. And also, today, using all the entire world full of Completionist Capes, the major response to the majority of quests today is'2 hours to receive my Comp back rip' and they hurry through the pursuit as fast as possible without really noticing any of the content / narrative, and those people would surely vote no to a new poll to get longer quest releases. So I think polling it might not work. IMO, less quests with better quality is where it should be, and right now they're delivering in the quests department just fine, but better quality isn't buy OSRS gold really that great.
