I don't see Animal Crossing Bells how they can continue to evolve in the exact same way they have been. Decoration was taken nearly as much as it can be; they must enhance the depth of interactivity next. There is just no additional options
I really miss the rude, sassy villagers. What small advantage those characters added to the game made it feel a lot more varied. I kind of stopped needing to even talk to my villagers because I understand every single one will be fine and sweet. There is no surprise to it, it feels like they're all just the same character now. An area where every individual is endlessly wonderful alllllll the time feels fake and artificial.
This reminds me of this spongebob episode where squidward moves to the neighborhood along with other squids.
I recall a moose or/and Grey wolf which was a jerk, but after some time I started to like him being a jerk, and also the times that he was candy were particular.
This is more because of localization than anything tbh. Villagers in Japan always were sweet, which in turn this was adjusted and they became more similar to what the japanese version is.
I would like villagers who can be assholes. Or villagers that are their own people. Allow me to feel like these are real characters, not simply artsy cookie-cut satisfaction robots given for me to play .
The English translation was not loyal at all to the first, but man was it great. Nintendo of Japan was so impressed that they re translated the translation have been released it in Japan.
Seriously; I moved back to the GameCube version (that I never owned) and intentionally pissed off Cheap Nook Miles Ticket Resetti because his writing was on fucking point
