They say that even just a short walk in nature, twenty minutes long, may be beneficial for increasing your mental health, but these forests are so magnificent that you will undoubtedly want to remain for a lot longer than that.

There are several breathtakingly gorgeous forests all over the world, from the towering redwoods of California to phrazle the tall bamboo groves of Japan, and everyone should put visiting at least one of these forests on their list of things to do before they die. Spending time outside in natural settings has the effect of making a person feel more whole. A journey to see a green and natural place can be a beautiful way to spend a vacation. Perhaps it is the opportunity to disconnect from social media or just to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city that makes this type of travel so appealing.

Even though the entire planet is brimming with breathtaking and one-of-a-kind natural treasures, we could only feature a select handful of them here. Take a look at some of the stunning woods that can be found all around the world. It is difficult to choose just one national park or site to visit in the United States because the country is home to dozens of national parks and hundreds of national sites. But the Redwood National and State Parks take the prize for having the most interesting "people" thanks to the fact that they are spread throughout four parks in the counties of Humboldt and Del Norte. The old-growth coastal redwood forest that encompasses Humboldt Redwoods State Park is the world's biggest continuous tract of old-growth coastal redwood forest. Some of the park's redwood trees reach heights of nearly 350 feet. The tree with the moniker "Hyperion" is approximately 380 feet in height, making it the tallest in the forest.
