A Course in Miracles" (ACIM) is a spiritual text that has grabbed the spirits and thoughts of millions around the globe since their book in 1976. Compiled by Dr. Helen Schucman, a scientific and research psychiatrist, the program gift suggestions a distinctive approach to spiritual awareness, forgiveness, and inner peace. Spanning around 1200 pages, ACIM is divided in to three major sections: the Text, the Workbook for Students, and the Guide for Teachers.

At its primary, ACIM teaches that the observed separation from God, which includes resulted in concern, shame, and conflict on earth, is an illusion. It asserts that the sole reality is love, and anything else is a  distortion the mystical teachings of Jesus developed by the ego—the false sense of self that thinks in individuality and separation. The Text lays out the theoretical construction of ACIM, presenting metaphysical concepts like the nature of fact, the confidence, forgiveness, and the Sacred Spirit—the divine style within that books students back again to truth. It problems old-fashioned religious beliefs and offers a non-dualistic perspective on spirituality, focusing the concept that there's just one truth and one reality.

The Workbook for Pupils consists of 365 classes, one for every time of the year. These classes are designed to train the mind and shift understanding from fear to love. Each training carries a brief commentary, accompanied by particular instructions for practice. The exercises range from simple affirmations to more complicated meditations, all directed at undoing the ego's hold on the mind and opening it to the ability of heavenly love.

Central to the teachings of ACIM is the thought of forgiveness, which is perhaps not seen as pardoning someone due to their activities but as recognizing that what they did was centered on a mistaken perception of themselves and others. Correct forgiveness releases the forgiver from the burden of resentment and allows them to see beyond the ego's illusions to the natural purity and value of all beings.
