Responding to Polygon's request to clarification, Blizzard issued the following statement regarding the incident. The statement clarifies that the publisher made adjustments to conform the United States trade restrictions and economic sanctions laws that came into effect on the 14th of July."We aren't able to speak about reports of the Iranian government's decision to ban games for its citizens.
