SLAYER (SAFE/RISKY) Requirements: Routine battle gear. A bread and butter of every OSRS gold participant with active membership. Slayer gives you entry to the critters that normally you couldn't kill. Their drop tables are known as much better than those of regular enemies. This creates a chance to produce some gold and get better equipment for your Ironman character.

Even though you can earn some gp through Slayer even quite early on, you might have to get to at least 80 Combat and 50 Attack for this method to become really profitable. Higher level creatures land better overall profit and because we came here mainly for gold you are interested in being at the highest combat which it is possible to get. For Ironman, Slayer is a true gamble as some of the monsters drop a great deal of gold even though others give hardly anything. You cannot decide on which job you are sent so that your very best option will be to prohibit the least rewarding ones. Read more about this in our Slayer guide.Last boss of Dragon Slayer II quest series with appropriate gear, stats and bit of skill can be taken down thirty times a hour producing crazy amounts of gold per hour. Obviously amassing right equipment set is not easy but with sufficient effort it's totally achievable, here is what you will need to successfully handle it - at least 90th level of Hitpoints and Ranged skills, 80 at Defence, 74 in Prayer, Dragon hunter crossbow (it's the best possible weapon for this particular battle, allowing you to up kill count to even 34 kills per hour as your abilities grow!) , Dragonfire ward, Ruby dragon bolts, emptiness knight equipment (elite one), Ava's accumulator for its awesome Ranged attack bonus, Salve amulet since Vorkath is undead, Pegasian boots, archers ring and obviously some food and potions. Age old tradition says quite clearly: every good RPG system, whether pen and paper or not, has to provide players with many alternative means of accomplishing goals, rather in creative and unorthodox ways. If match fails to do that, it's quite some kind of sandbox encounter with RPG elements employed for the sake of devoting the genre. Ah well, OSRS follows this guideline religiously and stocks us up with some really funky answers to the issue of gold earning MMORPGs. At least it can protect the players buy RS gold from boredom.
