Then, we came to an end of with the Endless Night with the help of Eliksni. However, that didn't completely reduce tensions. In the final scene, we were shown the effects of WoW cataclysm Gold Lakshmi's sarcasm. As if she was claiming to have the assistance of Osiris She used Future War Cult technology to make a portal open for Vex within the city's Eliksni quarter, with the hope that the invaders could be defeated. In the final battle the main actors from Vanguard and all around the City collaborated to protect the city of Eliksni and stop the Vex assault.
There are a lot of big changes following the conclusion this season. Lakshmi died during the Vex assault. Members of the Future War Cult have scattered as have her allies who are part of New Monarchy, another of the factions. The third group, Dead Orbit, has left the City too despite the fact that it didn't take part during the coup. This means that along with Lakshmi We won't see Arach Jalaal and Executor Hideo in the Tower in the near future.
These three groups have been component of Destiny since the game first launched, first appearing in an event known as Faction Rally, in which players pledged their loyalty to a particular group, in exchange for special weapons and equipment. Faction Rally hasn't been a part of WoW Cataclysm Classic for years however, and this story's evolution has more or less confirmed the fact that there hasn't been factions for long time.
What's fascinating, however, is the way that the absence of factions could mean for the future of Destiny. Future War Cult, Dead Orbit as well as New Monarchy were three groups which, together with the military leadership of the Vanguard and the Speaker comprised the Consensus. It was in essence the administration for the Last City. The groups were the civilians of the City, however, they've been eliminated while the Speaker got murdered in WoW Cataclysm Classic vanilla. The only thing to be left from the Consensus and the Vanguard is the Vanguard which may leave the government in a state of desperation within the City. This could strain the stretched Vanguard that is now required to fulfill any governmental duties that were previously left on the various factions. In light of how interesting the politics within the city was during the Season of the Splicer, asking how citizens of the City manage themselves, or don't, could result in some interesting scenarios that could be in WoW Cataclysm Classic 's future.
We've also witnessed some significant modifications to a lot of the main characters from WoW Cataclysm Classic. After allegedly helping Lakshmi as well as watching her battle between the Vex but not participating in the battle, Osiris has disappeared. There's lots of speculation on what this might mean from a plot viewpoint, and it's possible that we be dealing with the new villain in the works. The Saint-14 character has become Eliksni's most powerful ally, which is an enormous change. Saint-14 is a character who is known in the Destiny lore for his battle against the Eliksni enough so that they have tales they have their children tell about Saint-14 as the monster. The epilogue cutscene showed Saint-14 fighting for the Eliksni. He was later joined with Ikora, Zavala, and Amanda Holliday. It's likely that this year's theme of looking at our enemies from a different perspective and finding an agreement with them is likely to buy Cataclysm Classic Gold continue after the fact that we've seen several major characters risk their lives to defend their former foes.
