In Canada, an Internationally-educated graduate in engineering and applied science has the option to attain provincial certification as a technician or technologist. In the province of Alberta, ASET provides the following designations for engineering, applied science and information science practitioners: Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.), Certified Technician (C.Tech) and Professional Technologist (P.Tech.). To attain any of these designations, you must have a positive ASET assessment.
