Well even CAST components can't be mix and mash between versions, for instance, if you wan na na equip NGS Arm and a PSO2 Body, I think that it will not work. You needed to be full PSO2 CAST parts, or full PSO2 NGS CAST components to have the ability to get the job done. But hopefully they will change it later on so we can mix and mash to our hearts content later on. Your midget friend.
From the fan-translation they have been known as"Partners" that are characters you create that can sit around in your individual Quarters, do draw quests for you, and serve as a private ally (similar to a pawn in Dragon's Dogma but with much less functionality). I believe the only other newish thing PSO2:NGS needs for me personally, is mega, giga, gargantuan, and titanic/monolithic enemies in the open area that are best fought in AIS's. (or fled from if you're not in an AIS due to just like some size based damage boost which makes them 1-shot characters around the ground.)

Individuals who've played pso2 for some time have a good deal of money which would do strange things to the marketplace. Going to state they are probably just doing it to reset the dreadful inflation which occurred in Japan and is occurring to the US server right now. Maybe just maybe they could make individuals farm cash from buy meseta pso2 fall instead of daily in this one. I frankly hate that performing dumb pursuit is the best way to make meseta while enjoying the game isn't worthwhile.
