He pursued his undergraduate degree in Athletic Training at Winona State University where he discovered his passion for physical rehabilitation and wellness. After graduating from his undergrad, he began working as an athletic trainer but really enjoyed looking at therapy through a more holistic lens. This led Rumy to attend A.T Still University where he received his Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy.
Rumy has experience with fall prevention, resistance training, balance, and geriatric physical rehabilitation.
Rumy is originally from Bulgaria and moved to the United States in 1999.
