The game is Elden Ring nearly a month old, plenty of people have achieved incredible feats in FromSoftware's latest Souls-like. A few have defeated the action role-playing challenge without Elden Ring Runes ever dying, and others have reached the end credits in under 30 minutes. What I like watching, aside from speedrunners blitzing through the Lands Between, are flashy combat videos. A Guerrilla Games employee has them in abundance.
SunhiLegend is a franchise manager and members of the community team of the Horizon Forbidden West developer, often posts stylish edits of games such as Devil May Cry 5 and Final Fantasy VII Remake to Twitter. Each video is better than the one before and SunhiLegend shows their incredible quality. It's no wonder the videos are being shared widely. SunhiLegend is a badass at games!
There is no better way to see this more than their Elden Ring edits. Since the game's launch on February 25, SunhiLegend has posted three videos absolutely destroying hard-ass bosses including Lesser Crucible Knight as well as Leonine Misbegotten. But they're not just button-mashing for the win. SunhiLegend displays precision and sanity, utilizing top-of-the-line strategies, like constant attacks to take down an opponent's guard. It's an interesting film, similar to a film about martial arts.
This Margit the Fell Omen fight is particularly thrilling. SunhiLegend starts by walking to avoid Margit's flying swords before engaging in combat. The result is a humiliating assault of epic proportions. SunhiLegend rolls to avoid a couple of attacks, carries the shield to deflect others, takes some close-quarters sword attacks of his own, and then staggers Margit to deliver the fatal strike, while taking no damage. The fight is just over 1 minute. I'd be embarrassed if I were Margit especially considering that SunhiLegend didn't make use of cheap Elden Ring Items a spirit summon or any other method!
