The ministry is committed to its role in overseeing the enforcement of laws, decisions, and legislation that would regulate the recruitment and employment of domestic helpers in accordance with international best practices during the contractual period in order to build on the UAE's successes in supporting domestic helpers. Additionally, the employer's obligations include paying helpers' salaries in accordance with their contracts and paying for any medical expenses.
